Description: The scholarship is open to immigrants to the United States who are either high school seniors or college freshmen applicants.

Scholarship Name: LULAC National Scholarship

Amount: $2,000

Description: Must be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or be granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Must have applied to or be enrolled as a full-time student in a college or university, including 2-year colleges, or vocational schools that lead to an associate’s degree. Graduate students must have applied to or be enrolled as a part-time student in a college or university.

Scholarship Name: Indiana Undocumented Youth Alliance Scholarship

Amount: $2,500

Description: The scholarship is only available to undocumented students with or without Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) or Temporary Protected Status (TPS), who reside in Indiana, demonstrate financial need, and are pursuing higher education.

Description: Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply: Self-identify as a Chicana and/or Latina; Be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or community college in one of the following California counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, San Francisco, Sonoma, or Yolo Have lived at least two years in one of the above Northern California counties at the time of application.

Description: Applicants must be if Hispanic Heritage, U.S citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA. Have a minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students and plan enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the US, for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Amount: $90,000

Description: The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans program honors the contributions of immigrants and children of immigrants to the United States. Each year, we invest in the graduate education of 30 New Americans—immigrants and children of immigrants—who are poised to make significant contributions to US society, culture, or their academic field. Each Fellow receives up to $90,000 in financial support over two years, and they join a lifelong community of New American Fellows.
